I would also like to have the choice to use either the start menu or the W8 style start screen. It was available in the the earliest W10 Builds and I wish they would have left it.
No doubt someone will fetch out an app to do that, Stardock already has a beta of Start10 to get the Win7 style Start Menu back and once 10 goes G.A. there will be a few more pop up.

I see why you like it, I get that. I'm on the other side of the fence is all. I want a Start Screen, not a Start Menu. To me, its a step backwards from Windows 8.1. I was happy to see the start menu go, and now its resurrected.
I can't understand why anyone can not want the start menu. That's how we have started programs since windows 95 or so. Maybe the charms menu is nice if you have a touch screen, but otherwise I think 90% prefer the start menu.

Charms bar is dead in Windows 10, and what does that have to do with the Start Menu or Start Screen? Just because you've always done something a certain way doesn't mean its the best way to do something.
