    Display switches to "settings" window after 10 minutes.


    Asus 303la laptop with Win 10 pro preview # 14965

    Installed build 14965 via upgrade from previous insider build. Screen display after 10 minutes (when not in use) or so switches to "settings" window without any input or mouse activity. Looks as if you clicked on the setting icon on lower right corner of the task bar. Acts/looks like a screensaver. Checked screensaver setting and are ok. I use the TEXT screen saver.

    I have run DISM and SFC. No reported problems.

    Any suggestions?

    Turn off the screensaver, does the same thing happen?

    This seems to be a common problem with this build. Go to the MS Insider forum at "answers.microsoft.com" In my case my home built desktop works fine. My Asus 303LA Zenbook laptop is the one with the problem. One suggestions mention is to minimize the opened page. This seems to work.

I was able to find the URI for the regular display settings page and make a shortcut page but not for the advanced display settings. I'd like it for the advanced display since that's where you change your resolution and I do that often. Thanks
Power Option for "Turning off display" remains at "15 minutes"
in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security

I am running Windows 10 Professional 64 bit. Whenever I set the option "Turn off the display" to "Never", it reverts back to the default "15 minutes". This is under the "High Performance" profile. I have never, since Windows 3.11, ever had a setting...
