    Exiting safe mode windows 10

I set up both a Password and a Pin for windows 10. Been using the Pin and unfortunately forgot the Password.

Went into Safe Mode and found that they allow only a Password.

Cannot get into safe mode nor can I get out into a normal boot so that I can use the Pin

"Cannot get into safe mode nor can I get out into a normal boot so that I can use the Pin"
In safe mode, at the log in screen where you only have the option to enter password, look at lower R corner. Click power button and restart to get back to normal log in with PIN

This is windows 10. To get in or out of Safe Mode, it seems that you have to get into the program. Can not do this without the password.

Hitting the power button and rebooting brings me back to safe mode.

If you are using a Microsoft account to access Windows 10 you can reset the account password on the Microsoft site

Hit the power button.....choose Restart and at same time hold down Shift button for various options to rescue.

I just tested this again on my own machine. I entered normal safe mode (not networking or command prompt), left the password field blank (no PIN option, as you know) and click power icon/Restart and it took me back to normal sign-in which I have set up for PIN, like you. I entered safe mode from the Recovery Console which you can also enter by prev suggestion to hit Power Icon/Shift+Restart for additional repair or restore options.

Now, was your log in account a Microsoft account or Local account ? In either case, try the suggestions in this article and see if it helps -

    Good Luck.
