Multiple Desktops - Applications keep jumping between desktops on wake

I keep 2 virtual desktops, one for my personal applications and the other for official work.
I have multiple windows of Google Chrome on both the desktops, some excel windows, PDF files etc.

Whenever my computer wakes from sleep, the entire arrangement gets messed up and I have to manually drag back the windows into their respective desktops.

This is a very annoying issue. Any way to solve this?

While this may not work it is worth a try. It appears Desktop themes may / can cause icons to be moved.

See if this helps. Link says 7, article says it works on all modern versions.

I use a 3rd party application for multiple Desktops. I have two Desktops set up for when I open the program. You can set specific keyboard shortcuts to move items from Desktop 1 to Desktop 2 and vice versa. Also, a keyboard shortcut to switch from Desktop 1 to Desktop 2 and vice versa. As a matter of fact, I also have my mouse's Back/Front buttons ( microsoft wireless mouse 5000 - Bing images ) to switch desktops. I don't like the Microsoft version of multiple desktops, because of lacking the ability to customize options. This program is called Dexpot

I think there's some way to do what you want it to do, yet I don't exactly know how to do that.
It's best if you ask the people at the Dexpot forums:

Go to: Dexpot Forum | Index page
    Press the Second link: Support
Press the New Topic button (you might have to create a free account to post the question there)

    Hope you find your answer!
