You need to post the log from which item that you pulled that from. It can be anything. This is like walking into your auto garage and telling your mechanic that every time you drive, some light turns on, but you do not tell them what it looks like or when it happens.

If you go into Services in Administrative Tools, you can find out what they are. Just posting something that could be from multiple programs that placed a service in the OS, is like I stated before.

Those services sound like they are handling a sync operation of your user profile or a program that you are using.

They weren't listed there until the anniversary update. When I look under dependencies there is none so I really don't think I have anything that needs it but most of them you can't even disabled it, it's grayed out.

Your answer is on the top line. Just changes because Microsoft pulled Messaging Anywhere to concentrate on Skype more. Just pulling out old code that they no longer need and continuing their changes as they progress to Redstone 2, which will be very interesting.

The thing is I have sync turned off in the options section. Don't use Skype or messenger. I'm using Windows live Mail. So those services aren't needed? How can I stop them from starting, cause it's greyed out and you can't changed it.

Ok is this causing these services, I'm signed in with my microsoft account, is that why I'm seeing these in services?

Sync Host is One Drive Service, it is required by Windows Live Mail. The rest still remains a mystery.
Sure you can disable them, but unless you have a specific reason to do it, you probably should not.

Run CMD as admin and copy/paste, then restart:
    sc config CDPUserSvc start= disabled
    sc config OneSyncSvc start= disabled
    sc config OneSyncSvc_Session1 start= disabled
    reg add "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\PimIndexMaintenanceSvc" /v "Start" /t REG_DWORD /d "4" /f
    reg add "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\UnistoreSvc" /v "Start" /t REG_DWORD /d "4" /f
    reg add "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\UserDataSvc" /v "Start" /t REG_DWORD /d "4" /f

My guess would be with the changes they are making with Cortona to keep stuff synced if the user logs in with a Windows Live account instead of using a Local and not using the Live at all. We would need to know if they log in with an email or a username.
