Windows 10: How do I get rid of browser choice pop up?
How do I get rid of browser choice pop up?
Clicking on "always use this app" does not work.
Id like to know also, its broken for me too.
Be nice to all, please?!
Try to use the old control panel default apps menu, if the new ones fail. It worked for me.
I've tried that many times and it does not work, however I might add that I am trying to set IE11 as the default browser.

Did you try setting it as default in Settings > System > Default App?
Yes I have also tried that - still no luck.

It won't save there for me, until I have launched IE at least once. It sounds like most in this thread have launched IE several times though. There was another program/APP in that list that did the same thing, Media Player I think. It just wouldn't let me save as default until I used it at least once. Likely due to the first time use setup menu/popup. Wish I could be more help but that's all I have at the moment.
How can I prevent this from popping up every time I click on a link in my email? I always check to "Always use this app" but it does not work.

I'm getting a screen when I start the PC asking me to choose between Windows 7 and Windows 10 or set/change defaults. I'm sure this wasn't here when I first upgraded...am I meant to be getting this?
Former Linux user lured by Windows 10. Love it completely. Need Linux for a few things so I need to virtualize. Have Windows 10 Home (Upgraded from Windows 8.1 retail) so I don't have Hyper-V. Virtualbox isn't working quite right for me and I don't...
I'm torn between the following:
1. AMD A10-6800K
2. Intel I3-4150
The Intel is a better chip overall but would it be worth the effort to replace the motherboard to get the Intel??
