Why did Microsoft get rid of the expandable start menu screen? I really liked that feature. Now you can't have the start menu screen at full screen. They had it working really good with a scroll mouse or you could use the arrow buttons on the keyboard.

    Hey Groze,

The full screen Start is not gone. Microsoft just changed it to where you turn it on or off instead of the expand/restore button.

Source Looked around and didn't see this exact piece of news in any threads. Lock me if old. Imo, I just hope they won't still try to make live tiles down our throats. That's my biggest hunch about the rumored Win8 Update 2 Start Menu.
