    Windows 10 build 149393 Problems

    Hello all.!

This is my second post. First one i completely gave up on and reinstalled windows 10 pro.

My problem is as follows and Im getting quite frustrated now. I have only onedrive, Realtek audio manager and windows defender notifications running when booting up. The problem is when i first turn on my computer, it logs in fine, goes straight to desktop. Then at that point it will freeze up for about 7-10 mins. Then everything will work as normal again without issues. It will startup fine in safe mode without issues. I have attempted disabling everything i can and no matter what i do it still starts this way.

    Things done:
    Disabled almost everything.
Ran sfc /scannow - no issues found after several runs
Ran chkdsk - no issues. New evo850 SSD
Ran troubleshooter - cannot find any problems.
Have reinstalled twice now. Everytime it works fine until the last few updates happen. Attempted rolling back then it just reinstalls them again and problems persist.
Changed hard drive to another, same thing.
Computer is 1 month old. Exchanged it for another. Problem persisted no matter what...

Problems in event viewer that i see...
Event id: 5973, 65 times in one hour.
7000, 2 times in one hour
    7009
    7022
    7024
    10001
    10010
    10016
    16392

All these events in one hour, basically every time i start up computer.
I do not know how to print or save my event viewer file...
Im at my wits end with this Windows 10 Anniversary Fiasco...please help me find a solution to this never ending problem.

    Thanks, William.

EDIT: I figured out how to save event viewer file...How do I attach it?

It's Version 1607, Build 14393 followed by a number such as .321 which probably stands for the latest update.

Just below the box I'm typing in and to the right is a button called Go Advanced, click it to get to Manage Attachments, follow the prompts. Size of the file may be an issue.

Yeah, that's the way to do it. I looked at the file but don't see anything obvious but then I'm not much of an expert in that area. Since you exchanged the computer and the problem persists it could be the SSD if you used the same one or it could be one of the programs that has been installed. I've heard of a few similar issues with SSDs but never heard if the problem had actually been solved.

What programs are starting when the computer start. You can check in Task Manager Startup tab and also you can disable services you might not need. What Antivirus are you running and if not Windows Defender make sure Defender is disabled. I can't tell you exactly what service to disable as I don't know what's running on your laptop or how you use it but I have many services disabled with no adverse effect on what I need to use this computer for

You should Disable the unwanted Startup Programs from the Task Manager. I faced a little similar problem on my laptop. My laptop slowed down tremendously, so I booted into Safe Mode, then Disabled, the Unwanted Startup Programs from "Task Manager, > Startup."

It worked for my tiny problem. It might help you.

You don't actually need to go to safe mode to disable startup programs as can do it in Task manager if you're admin. Anything can be disabled and changed in Windows from updates to protected tasks and manipulating files even in 10 with various means but there's a point where it becomes unusable so each system is different so the more info the OP supplies the better the possibility of helping. Try to run a live version of Windows or Linux to see if it's hardware related

Have a look at Reliability History and if there are any red flags then view the Tech Details for each one. This often gives you the cause of a problem and enough info to search for a solution.Display freezing is often caused by the graphics card driver timing out.
