    That's one of the reasons for reading forums such as this one, lots can be learned. Same thing for books, the Books for Dummies are quite useful [probably wouldn't have been a catchy title if they called it Books for the Uninformed].

    There is a very simple way. Because I live in Singapore, Cortana is turned off by default because English(Singapore) is not a supported language. Simply change your device language to something other than the one listed like English(Singapore), and press the default language button. ta da Cortana gone and magnifying glass back. Solved search icon on taskbar in General Support
I have both desktop and laptop set up on 10. The desktop has "Search the web and Windows" on the task bar. It's not on the laptop. How do I get it. Thanks.
So i recently installed windows 10 and everything was good in the beggining but suddenly the windows button,search and audio on the taskbar just wont start. I press them and nothing happens. The only way for me to turn of my laptop is to ctrl alt...
