Windows 10: Notifications: How To View Old Notifications?
Notifications: How To View Old Notifications?
Hi all, I really like the "New Notifications" feature in Windows 10 Pro on the bottom right corner of my screen.
My Windows 10 PC informed me that I had potential malware and it said it removed it, but I want to read more about it.
How can I view old "Notifications" that appear in the bottom right corner of my screen?

To find out more about what was removed,
if you're using Defender,
you need to open it up,
select the History tab,
select "all detected items,
click View details,
Then this opens,
and you can decide if it was a false positive and keep it, or to remove it.
Thanks, but is there another way I can check like the old "Notifications"?

I couldn't find any place.
I was thinking in C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\ActionCenterCache
but mine is empty
Thanks for your effort!
If anyone else has an idea I'd appreciate it!
So it's not possible to look at old Notifications?
Apparently not. Most notifications are of the 'Safe to remove USB mass storage device' type - relevant only at the time of notification. There's little point in keeping those, so Microsoft don't. Some (like 'Defender needs to scan your drive' or 'an app default was reset') are less ephemeral and will stay in the Action Centre until you click on then to confirm you've read them. But they too will then disappear. More serious errors may also get reported in the Event Log or (like Defender's History) in the app itself, but there's no record of action centre notifications that I can find.
Thanks for your help!
If anyone knows a way I can read the old notifications I'd really appreciate it.
It would be great if there was a way that we could read old notices. There have been a few I didn't get to read before they disappeared.
This is my problem also!
Any help. I am a Mobile specialist reseller and am trialling a Lumia 950. Phone is great but it will not receive notification of either SMS or Email on the screen. I have to open the outlook or SMS icon and only then can I see they are there. The...
any way to stop email notifications from popping up in the Notifications popup every time I receive an email --really annoying - especially with the amount of SPAM email there is these days.
I'm using Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2016.
Various balloons pop up in the notification/Action Center area that instruct, for example, to "tap to choose what happens with removable drives." Yet when those prompts are clicked/tapped, they vanish, providing no options ... so what's the...
Hi. I am trying to configure action centre in Windows 10 but "show app notifications" is greyed out.
It also says, "Some settings are managed by your organisation" but this is a personal laptop.
Does anyone know how to change this please?...
I am not getting some notifications on Windows 10.
For example, when I plug in my flash drive, there should be a popup dialog like in prior Windows asking how I'd like to use it (i.e. open folder to show files). But that doesn't appear in...
