Windows 10: Postit Digital Notes and dual display
Postit Digital Notes and dual display
I have reason to believe that 3M no longer supports "Postit Digital Notes", a computerised version of the paper "Postit Notes" so I'm probably not going to get very far with this. However:
Since migrating from Windows 7 to Windows 10, I cannot persuade my notes to move to my right-hand (secondary) display. I can drag them around anywhere on the left-hand (Primary display), but as soon as the mouse pointer crosses the boundary between the two screens, the note jumps back to be fully in the primary display.
Actually, I suspect that this worked when I first migrated to Windows 10, and may be caused by an upgrade to my display driver, Radeon Crimson 16.6 (Hardware: AMD Radeon R7 200 Series)
Is there anything that I can do to fix this?
I keep my primary display clear of any persistent items, but the Postit Notes issue is obstructing my wishes.
I was going to position a suitable note on the left-hand display in the image, but forgot. You'll have to imagine it, stuck there on the left...
In a few words,
I have a MSI AMD Radeon HD 7700 Graphic card with the latest driver installed 16.40.2011 in Win 10 Pro 1607, and I've noticed that when I plug the second monitor (a hd ready wide TV screen) into the hdmi slot, the main desktop...
My ThinkPad T500 running 64-bit Windows 7 Professional Edition worked great on and off a mini docking station with 2 external monitors. The dual-display setup allowed me to have more desktop space; when needed, I can take the laptop off the docking...
I have spent a long time investigating this with no luck yet. I have a 4k display and a second 1080p display. Using the Skylake onboard Intel HD 530 graphics. Either display alone works fine at native res, however in dual monitor...
So, I've just upgraded to Windows 10 and I got past the whole black screen of death after the initial boot up. I have an Alienware X51 with a GTX 750ti Graphics card and Intel i5 cpu.
Now, I read on a post earlier that the drivers are set up to...
With my Windows 10 Preview 10130 and Office 16 installed, Word unfortunately shows the most recently opened documents two times - both with and without extension .docx.
Is this something I can fix or is it a bug in the program.
