"Get Windows 10 App" on a Domain PC?

So my Windows 8.1 Pro computer is joined to a domain and I am not getting the Get Windows 10 app in my system tray. I am a Domain Admin and while it's good this is not showing up for all my users I want to personally reserve my copy of Windows 10. Is there any known way to get the app to work on a domain computer?

Also - If it does NOT work, will I still be able to download the update file manually on the 29th of July and install?

Finally, is this an UPGRADE only, or will I be able to install it from scratch? I bought a SSD I have been waiting to install until I get Windows 10 so I can put my OS on it and use my 500GB SATA for data, but I am now thinking perhaps they will only let you upgrade for free?

    Thanks all for your help

    Does your domain use WSUS?

The "Reserve your copy" function is only for the Windows Update path for upgrade, which is an upgrade only. You will also be able to get an ISO and install from scratch, but not through Windows Update.

Yes I use WSUS but this computer is exempt and gets updates from MS Update direct.

When I get the ISO and install from scratch is MS going to issue me a new product key for that?

I read something today that said you will be able to. Look in the control panel under Windows Update and try to do an update and you should get a screen where you can reserve your Windows 10 update.
