Start won't start in 10.0.10130 on my machine.
Workaroud: Settings>Personalize>Start
toggle all switches one at a time and try to launch the menu
It seems to be related to the 2nd option [I]Store and display recently opened programs in start[/I but the full screen start option also sometimes wakes up Start.
I just throw all of the switches and try, then throw the switches back the other way and try. Eventually Start starts
You can get to Settings through the Actions and Notifications panel (All Settings 'tile')
Thanks, that seems to have worked.
Glad it helped.
It's a workaround. When I locked my system, and signed back in, the issue came back. It seems to be a window focus or timing issue, but after a while (hours), it settles down. The icons still change position and size, but I've only had to flip the Start switches once in about 12 hours.
At least you know how to get around this 'feature'

Oh, it's come back again. It didn't seem to work now...
It might take a few attempts, toggle them on, check Start, toggle them off, check Start.
That's the only thing that works on this machine. If I see any other solution, I'll post back here.
It worked finally, I kept bashing the on/off on them all... Think it just got fed up of me...
