    Navigation Pane


    Can anyone tell me how to get the folders in the navigation pane of file explorer to expand to show the sub folders. If I right click the folder, 'Expand' is greyed out. This has only happened since the AU.

    Hello John,

    You might see if an option in the tutorial below may be able to turn on expand to current folder in the navigation pane for you. It's the same in Windows 10.

    Hi Brink
    Thank you for your reply, but non of that works in W10. There are similar options available in the view section of folder options but they do not expand the the subfolders, only the ones in 'my pc'.

    Left click opens folder. Right click gives the option to expand, but it is greyed out.

    Folders expand if I click the > in the navigation pane. In this example, Expand is greyed out 'cos there are no sub-folders.

    Check this option:
