Thanks for the suggestion, but I am clueless how I could "add it to your standard boot with a time of say 3-5 secs"; Unsure how that would be done and just curious why MS didn't do it (I still think it's a good option to have available) for us ?!?
You open up msconfig then got to Boot and change the time delay. Microsoft has not done anything. Nothing has changed in how things are done, other than a change to the GUI with two modes for those who have devices like the Yoga and Surface.

    KB,
Thanks for your detailed explanation. I never heard of the BCEDIT command and now I plan to play with it !

then backup religiously with Macrium Reflect so you can get yourself out of trouble if Needed...and make the RESCUE disk...very important for Macrium.

Actually, I recently started using Macrium Reflect but now I'm confused why you say that the rescue disk "is very important for Macrium". If I have Macrium's backup of my system where/how does the rescue disk come into play?
    Thanks for your replies,

Because if you can't boot Windows , Macrium's BootDiskRescue Disk will let you either Re-Image from a backup to recover or you maybe able to use it's "fix windows Boot " tool if you screw up playing with BCDEDIT while outside Windows. Macrium without the Rescue Disk is only 1/2 the Tool.

Another good tool to have is Kyhi's BootDisk ...it includes Macrium and MiniTool Partition Wizard and many other Apps , it is available right here on !0 Forums ...I use the 160707 Version.

    Thanks, KB.
I'll play around with Kyhi's BootDisk as you recommended to see what it has to offer above and beyond Macrium.
    With appreciation,

Thanks for pointing that out, KB.
I just bookmarked Kyhi's Custom Tools & Utilities (Windows 10 Recovery Tools - Bootable Rescue Disk - Windows 10 Forums) and will soon start reviewing them.
