Strange happening when shutting down Win10 today.

My Win10 has been working well but today when i was shutting my system down, i received a strange notice that something went wrong, and the computer had to restart.
It went through restarting and after a while i read please wait, after waiting around 20 minutes, i unplugged computer and restarted it.
It started like normal and i then again shut system down and it shut down without me getting any new problem notice.
Just seems really strange this happening.

Do you remember what was notice about? Could be chksdk, but then it would probably run at next startup..
You aren't providing much information about it...

Check with Malwarebytes just in case (and select rootkit option).

It did not give me more then around 10 seconds to read the displayed notice, then it started the re-starting process. I just caught it saying something about some problem and would re-start.

It could be nothing special. Sometimes programs don't close in time, or crash at shutdown. Windows would shutdown after presenting message. You can check event viewer - what happened before shutdown. Look for errors.

There is also Reliability Monitor (just click start and type reliability - and then click on it) that will show brief history.

I have had many strange problems with both my ASUS G73 computers, when using Win7 8.1 and now Win10.
So it's not a real shock these two systems do strange things, i always can get them back working with a reboot, so i really are not worried about this last item.
I just thought i would run it past the forum.

If it was a Blue Screen, download "Whocrashed" from http://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed It will read the Dump log and give you the output as to what device driver caused it.
