Windows 10: Recent update has led to loss of network files on my desktop
Recent update has led to loss of network files on my desktop
After the last update of Windows 10 the network folders have disappeared from my desktop. The folders exist on my laptop
and I am able to access them there, but all I have on the laptop network is a default migrated folder. Any idea where the others may have gone?
After the Windows 10 Anniversary Update was installed on my Windows 10 Pro, .RDP files won't open. Remote Desktop still works if you open it manually and enter in the server info. But my saved .RDP files won't open. Also, right clicking on them...
I am wondering if there is any way to sync my recently opened files in Windows 10 File Explorer across multiple PC's running Windows 10 in i.e home network or other methods. Any feedback and ideas is very much appreciated.

I am a little concerned as I want to update my BIOS but I am seriously going to crap my pants (I'm old) if I lose activation on 10. After a health issue my ability to focus and or sit up for any long periods of time...
In Windows explorer with W10 when i first had the RTM version Recent files were there, but as that os had been from Win 8.1 upgraded to 10 preview and then 10 RTM it was bloated. So i reinstalled a fresh copy of W10.
But now no recent files show...
