Recovering Deleted Partition, Please help. HDD havent been writen.

Hey guys, I need your help quiet desperately

    Story:
I have installed a new SSD into my desktop PC. And has an extra 1TB HDD as well beside. All worked great out until:

    Problem:
At windows 10 setup I accidentally deleted my "Data" partition from my HDD.
I only had 1 Extended partition on the whole HDD. The SSD works great and has only System on it.

After booting up all I could see is a 500MB System Reserved Partition and a 950GB-ish Unallocated space in "Disk Managament".

I have deleted the System Reserved after.

So right now I have a complete empty Unallocated Space.

    Tried:
    MiniTool Partition Wizard
    EaseUS Partition Master 11.8
    Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery
    PartitionGuru
    Remo Recover
    and
    TestDisk.

All of this above recognize the System reserved right away! (what I have deleted manually from Windows).
All of this recognize other old! Boot Partitions and Efi Sectors. Mostly small value (30-40 GB). The are locating all around inside the volume. Some of the at 1/3, some at half part etc.
None of them recognize the over 950 GB deleted Partition.

    Question:
Is there any difference between the manual delete "in windows" and the delete in "Windows setup"?
Should I try some recovery software from boot? (create a bootable device)

For me it looks like for some reason there IS a difference.

I know that all my files are still there and thats why I dont write on the HDD at all (havent formated, didnt do anything with it only scanned). But is there any way to modify the FAT table or (I dont know what :) ) to able to recover the original structure?

Sorry for my English, not my native language.

Thank you for your time and help!

    Have a great one,
    Alv

Helping you via The 'Net is going to almost impossible at this point. Others may differ, and I hope they post quickly.
Otherwise, I'm recommending you write down as much as you remember exactly what you "told" Windows 10 install/update/upgrade combine to do, and then take that writing and your HD containing your Data partition to any trusted computer guru who knows how to get back your Data partition. Just to let you know: if Windows 10 zeroed out the directory structure of that Data partition, you are in for an expensive long process of: aaa0001, aaa0002, aaa0003...data file recovery.

Going forward, where are your routine full image Data partition backups onto trusted external media?

    RolandJS,

Thank you for your fast respond!

    My problem got solved!!!

I kept looking for solution and found: Active@ UNDELETE

I still cant believe it! It found 17 previous partitions and my 936 GB one of them. The method is slightly different.
It does not restore the Partition Table or anything like that. After it found the partitions and I choice out the right one, I could check out the exact data I need to recover: Folders, Files, extensions etc. with the exact same name and position as it was before.
So I picked up all the important things and left the big ones behind like games etc...
After, it started to copy all my files with the same order, same name to an other HDD (what I plugged in before the scan!) (only 650 GB).

Already while copying, I am able to check out the data (pictures, videos, doc, excel, everything) on the other HDD and they are 100% :)

So if you are in the same trouble as me, I gladly recommend my life saver Software:

    Active@ UNDELETE

Hope it helps to other as well !!!

Have a great one and thank you!

    Hi,

I am in the same situation,, I accidentally deleted the primary partition of my usb3 back up plus drive while deleting and merging other partitions on a second usbv external drive in Windows 10 (64bit Pro) Disk Management - I haven't copied files on the affected drive so I am hopefully it will be straight forward. I tried Active@ Partition Recovery and Minitool and both find my deleted partition but require to purchase an upgrade for a one trick pony recovery tool for about $60 or more. Note that I tried Hirens 15.2 on a bootable USB and WIn PE (windows XP emulation) crashes and the recovery dos programs seems limited.

Do you have a free partition recovery tool I could use to do the job (with no spam or virus)?

Should I recover the partition/data to another drive space?

Thank you in advance for you help.
