"Your computer is offline" while It's not. Can't login.

Hi guys I'm new here and I have this disturbing problem I would like to solve with your help if possible.

So I upgraded from 8.1 few months ago everything ran smooth for few days I downloaded updates still It was okay but few days after that I couldnt login as It was saying : "Your computer is offline, enter the last password you remember" or something like that I happen to change that password because I thought I couldnt remember it correctly and entering it wrong.

After messing around with it with a password recovery tool I managed to access the Administrator user and while using Internet Explorer I noticed that IE can't connect to mail.live.com.

I could ping it I could open it with Chrome and other browsers my hosts file is clear my antivirus is uninstalled I even reinstalled IE but nothing seemed to help.

To conclude things I personally think when I'm able to open mail.live freely with IE I will be able to login to my original account. It says "Welcome" for about a minute or two before saying that I'm offline. Same as IE trying to connect to mail.live for 1 minute and fails.

    Any thoughts?

I had the same issue months back. The solution that worked for me was to remove the M$ account (outlook in my case) and change the login to skip requiring a password. Took a while to fix it but it now boots up and goes straight to the desktop. Give it a try-you have nothing to lose.

Just to be safe always make a backup (image) Free Macrium works perfectly

Last week my 2013 Office (outlook) had the same thing happen, could no longer send/receive mail. Was off line, would not toggle. I gave up and installed 2016 version of Office and the same thing happened again. I eventually got mine straightened out by deleting the .pst files and re-entering my email accounts. Some how they got "wacked" up.

I had to Google it. There are 2 separate issues:

1-Removing your account from Win 10 (outlook, hotmail, whatever you use to sign in to your PC).
As always, back up your files.
2-Changing the setting to no longer need a password and boot right to the desktop.
