414 Events for MCUpdate
"Task Scheduler service found a misconfiguration in the NT TASK\Microsoft\Windows\Media Center\PeriodicScanRetry definition. Additional Data: Error Value: %windir%\ehome\MCUpdate.exe."
i seem to have acquired these in my events log, but use NOD32, never used McAffee - how do i get rid of this?
Are there any free packages that I can use to replace the Windows Event Viewer?
I'm ideally looking for something that will lay out all of the events in one long scrolling screen in chronological order, rather than having to keep flipping...
I get 40+ of these information events in the event viewer on most days. They are for lots of different devices. "ENVY" in the message below is this PC. The events are from the Device Setup Manager with event id 112.
Saw this in Event Viewer today (see link at provider name):

I understand there will be Launch events at Microsoft Store (Not like before in the past where it's in hotels and movie theaters) on Wednesday.
However, what frustrates me so much right now is not knowing if there will be enough reason to attend...
