How to Extract Files from Windows 10 Installation DVD

There is a Windows 7 tutorial called Extract Files from Windows 7 Installation DVD and it works great.

I need to extract files from a Windows 10 Installation DVD and did not find a tutorial so thought to follow the same process as the Windows 7 tutorial but it fails on step 6 to click on install.wim (there is a file on the Windows 10 installation called install.wim).

It takes a long time to finally complain and the error is:

Name:	Untitled.jpg
Views:	5
Size:	107.1 KB
ID:	94505

If there is a tutorial that tells how to extract a file from the Windows 10 Installation DVD I could not find it so maybe somebody will know the solution.

So that message could indicate that the version of 7-Zip I have installed is an older version and I should download and install the newer version.

Under Help, About the I has 7-Zip I had was 9.20 so I downloaded and installed the version 16.02 from that link.

    Now things are better.

    Now it is working.

    Much grass.
