Start Menu

The only problem that I am noticing with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update is that the Start Menu doesn't have a smooth flow when opening.

Is there any way to make it have a smooth flow again like in the old version of Windows 10?

I don't know what you mean but I like the look of mine when it opens. It seems smooth.

That's what I am talking about. It doesn't seem smooth.

I figured it out.

Below are the steps on what I did:

1. Right Click on Start Button
2. Click or Tap "RUN"
3. Type "sysdm.cpl"
4. Under System Properties, click or tap the "Advanced tab".
5. Under Performance, click or tap "Performance"
6. Uncheck animate controls and elements inside windows.
7. Tap or Click "Apply", and then Tap or click "OK".
8. Close System Properties

I hope this helps someone that may experience this quirk.

Although I hadn't had those options checked, I found by ticking them and applying then, going back and undoing it,
the menu was back to appearing to be snappy. Thanks. :)

Mine is "snappy" right out of the box.
