Windows 10: Stuck on Loading Screen

It's possible that some of your system files were corrupted by the event. This is why I always recommend a Back-UPS for every desktop I work on. If your OS is reading/writing system files during a power loss, those files will be corrupted, rendering your OS unusable.

I don't think I would buy a new computer just yet (unless, of course, you were looking for a reason to do so!).:) If you can get into the recovery environment, it may be possible to repair the OS. See if this helps:

(Unless the sparks came from the computer and not the router....then, I would have a professional look at it.)
