'error 0x80004005 unspecified error' when trying to move files

I am trying to move a folder with a bunch of image files in it off of my flash drive to the 'Documents' folder. Every time I try to do so, I get the following error: "error 0x80004005 unspecified error" Which Google only brings up results about unzipping files, there is nothing regarding moving files from one directory to another. I am getting this error when I try to move files.

Can you open the files on the flash drive? Try something to access the files locally and see if that doesn't give you more information about what's up. If they do open, try opening the folder and transferring the files from inside that container. Not enough info yet to zero in on a diagnosis. Others who encountered this error have advised file system repair, so you may want to try chkdsk f: /f (but substitute the real drive letter for your flash device, please) to see if it doesn't find errors.
Keep at it: we'll figure it out!
