Win 10 boot fail and desparate, really desperate

Hi. Im sure this has been discussed somewhere, but Im am so desperate that Im probably not thinking too straight. My Lenovo G480 is what I use right now. I was running Win 8.1 and I decided to upgrade to 10. A few minor issues that I solved and it was doing fine. Yesterday, it completely froze and I had to do a hard restart. Now, it wont boot except in safe mode and even that crashes after a couple minutes. I tried to do a restore from boot, but it just sticks at 1% and seems to stay there forever with no progress. I am a working chef and I have a private gig in one week and its a career maker, but everything is on this little laptop and I cant access it. Yes, I know I should have backed it up long ago, but I didnt and it will take many hours that I dont have to try to recoup all the info. What can I do? I read that Win 10 doesnt enable sys res by default. If theres some help here, I could sure use it now. Thank you ahead of time. Im on another comp here, so I can easily follow.

Make a Windows 10 installation USB flash drive or DVD if you don't have one:
USB Flash Drive - Create to Install Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

Boot the laptop from it. Select the language, keyboard, etc. on the first screen. On the next screen, click Repair this PC - lower right corner. In the next menu select troubleshoot, then advanced. Do you have an option to Go back to previous build, or go back to previous OS? That item would hopefully undo the upgrade to Windows 10 and get you back to the OS that you had before you upgraded.
