How to open PNG file

    Mmmhh, that's a thought Brink....I am using second laptop, an old Dell Inspiron.......will try it on much newer Toshiba........get back to you.....thanks.

    If I may, I do screen shots every day in Win7 and Win10, once in awhile on Mac. When I press the PrntScrn key I then open Paint [All Apps, W section, Windows Accessories] and Paste. The contents are in the Windows Clipboard. I then can manipulate the image and Save as a choice of formats, usually .jpg but .png is also there. Might test that.
