How to write a caption on 'Pin to Start' selected websites.

On Win8.1 I could type out a caption for Start screen websites I pinned to the Start screen. With W10 it appears I can only click on the ... in the top right corner of the site select 'Pin to Start' but have no control over the title of the caption. I know I can save them to 'Favourites' & type the caption. Any suggestions please?.

In Windows 10, you can do what you desire, to a certain degree, with Internet Explorer, but with Edge, you'll need to create a website specific desktop shortcut for Edge then Pin that to Start:

New shortcut - enter the directive (in yellow) then your website URL (in red), name it what you wish and customize the icon if desired.

. 1st: What do you mean: 'You can do what you desire, to a certain degree with Internet Explorer?.
2nd: When I create a specific website desktop shortcut for Edge then Pin that to Start. When I click on that in Start, all it does is take me to the desktop.
It would be awful tedious if I had to keep on hunting for the Edge address Url before I could even add the Url address of the website I want to Pin to Start. There's no address Url for Edge on it's website.
Isn't their a shorter & more efficient way of doing it.

Internet Explorer has a feature in the Tools Menu to "Add this Site to Apps" which creates a site specific instance of IE.

Make sure you are typing the shortcut properly, example:

%windir%\explorer.exe microsoft-edge: then, without a space, the url

I have discovered an easier way to add captions on the Tiles/Apps on Start Screen. First 'Pin the website to the Start Screen'>Right click on the tile>Choose the ..., >More>Open File location>Right click on the item>Rename>Type the caption you want. Easy-peasy!!
