    "Side-by-side configuration is incorrect"

Does anyone know anything about this error message that I'm getting when I'm trying to start Logitech Setpoint in Windows 10 64 bit?
Apparently it's relatively common for all sorts of applications.

Good morning. Here are a couple of things to try:

    1. Download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable Package:

Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013

    Access Denied

    2. Run System file checker.

    • Press Windows key + X, select Command prompt (Admin) to bring up elevated Command prompt.
    • In Command prompt type sfc/scannow and press enter.
    • Restart the computer.

If no corrupted system files were found in the previous state, then I suggest you to try the following steps:

    • Open command prompt by pressing Windows key + X and selecting “Command prompt admin”.
    • In command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each command:

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    • Close the command prompt and restart the PC and check if it works.

You could also try running chkdsk /f /r c: (or whichever drive letter you want to check). You'll probably have to boot up using the "advanced options" and select "command prompt."

    Hope these help.

Problem disappeared by itself for no reason I can really determine. I tried all the above but it didn't initially work.
