You could, but since it doesn't take very much room you might as well keep it.
There are some people that actually collect ISO files. Right now I have approx. 45 different versions of Linux and Windows ISO files stored as a nice little collection.

I have a genuine disc of Microsoft office 2010,Would it be possible to make an iso of that for future keeping.Right now I have approx. 45 different versions
I do have quite a selections of movies in iso.
If that is yes what program should I use to make an iso of office,I have used dvdfab to convert the movies to iso.

No, they are good for years. I still use years old Windows and Linux ISOs just to create little computers on separate hard drives. Multibooting it is called. It is fun.
You can also download the Office ISO from MS servers using the Heidoc ISO Downloader.
If your Office disc is the older pre SP1 disc, you might want to download the newer ISO that includes SP1.
