The name Ultra [too many things use it] leaves one making a myriad of guesses, only one I found searching is this one that has been discontinued:

Well, I have my wifes computer up and running on Win10, took better part of a day but it's doing pretty good right now. The only problem I had was update failure due to 'couldn't update the system partition'. But again, thanks to these forums I was able to alter the partition sizes and thus the install went well after that. Took a very long time, which surprised me. The Ultra program I was concerned about seems to open without problems, wife says tomorrow morning she will test a group with the program to make sure it's fully operational. The bottom line is: I seem to have more trouble getting my printers running after doing these updates to Win10. It was funny, the two network connected printers were found with out trouble, not needing any work but I also have two USB connected printers and I'm still without one of them working. A Canon MF4350d, its still a work in progress.

My thanks for the fantastic support and comfort these forums provide, to all that contribute!!!

I did not - but I see that it's a fix for the USB scanner and that seems to be my problem, the system can't seem to detect a USB printer. I have loaded canon drivers from the original disk as I was getting nowhere. At one point I pulled the usb out and plugged it back in and the printer worked for one cycle and then the system couldn't find it again.

Thanks for that lead, I think it will fix but I can't try tonight...I'm tired and just finished watching the Hunt for Red October...

That's good to hear. I hope the new drivers for the printer fix things for your wife!

unplug the printer usb cable and see if canon has a clean tool to remove any remnents of the old print driver...
then plug in the printer and allow windows 10 to install drivers..

Well, I ran that USB scanner and now I have the printer up and running - thanks again to all that helped out with this. We're optimistic that her system will be fine with Win10, but I still can fall back to the windows 7 SSD if needed, it's still in the machine but not connected.
