    What dates are left in July or August? I have changed windows 10 forum web based email to a comcast email, that way if I win I can open up a paypal account easier than using a web based email. I read the sender can send money to a person that doesn't have a paypal account. The receiver will have so many days to open up the account and verify it.
    Groze, go to the first page of this thread and you'll see the "calendar" with all the dates taken and left.

    June 10 a bit risky, might as well give it a shot.

    Now that I'm within the rules, I'll say August 16th.

    Can I ask if the exchange rates are going to be taken in to account? So as to make sure the recipient gets the full 1000 after conversation.

    The rules are quite clear, the prize is $1,000, one thousand US dollars. That's the amount John will send to the winner's PayPal. That would be in today's exchange rates 917, 649, AUD 1,286, CAD 1,235 or ₹63,858.

    It would be totally unfair in a global site like the Ten Forums if the price would be 1,000 in the winner's currency. A winner would for instance get over 50% more in case he / she would be British because 1,000 equals $1,540, or if the winner would be from India he / she would only get $16 (
    ₹ 1,000 equals a bit under $16).

    The only fair way is exactly as mentioned in the rules in the first post, rules set by the owner of the forums: One Thousand US dollars to the winner.

    @Kari
    Now, I am a little confused but I don't know much currency conversion. I thought that was up to paypal for the conversion. Did paypal change the way they do conversions? I am curious on how Brittan's pay U.S. bills without over or under paying them?

    @essenbe & @swarfega

    I read a recent rumor that is could be released in June but no date was set.

    This is unbelievable, please tell me you are not serious? This can't be so difficult to understand! I really do not understand what's so confusing here? As you refer to my previous post, I will quote it here before trying to explain this as simple as possible, hoping that you will understand it:

    OK, that's what I said. Let's try to explain it once more: When we know the winner, John sends 1,000 US Dollars to the winner over the PayPal. PayPal uses official currency exchange rates in depositing the money to the winner's account if the receiver's currency is not the same as in which the money was sent. This means that the receiver then gets the money in his / her local currency; 1,000 US Dollars if the winner is from the USA and an equivalent amount in the winner's local currency according to that day's official exchange rates (used by PayPal and other financial institutes) if the winner's currency in his / her PayPal account is other than the US Dollar.

    Those amounts I mentioned in my previous post were the official official exchange rates for 1,000 US Dollars the day I posted. Today the rates have changed a bit, and when we finally have a winner the exchange rates have changed again.

    Really, how difficult can this be?

Does anyone here believe that Windows 10 will be very likely to come out in June 2015 or is that wishful thinking? I want it now so badly but I would hate to have to wait until September or even July or August. Microsoft needs to speed things...
