    my Alt-Tab items stuck

After installing Windows 10 today. It's getting my Alt-Tab items stuck. Whenever I press Alt+Tab, this thing gets stuck in the middle:

I really need some help as I'm very OC when it comes to this stuff. I can't focus on my work properly. Please.

Hi X47GVN and welcome to Tenforums.
I just tried Alt+Tab on my system and it works fine. There is an alternative though: have you tried just using the Task View icon to switch between open windows?

That is just a band-aid and that really hurts the productivity as all of us have been using Alt-Tab ever since it was XP. Can the Task View work like Alt-Tab? Like switch the hotkeys?

Alt+Tab works just fine for me too. Perhaps a restart can make it normal for you.

If you need the keyboard shortcut for Task View, it is Win+Tab.

What is it's in It's getting my Alt-Tab items stuck
    and
What thing in this thing gets stuck in the middle

Try the left or right Alt + Tab combo - if one works and not the other clean the Keybd
Turn it upside down and tap the bottom, then vacuum

If it is a wireless KeyBd, change the batteries

    Try another KeyBd

How many Windows are open? Does it work with fewer Windows open or when a specific app is not open?

I registered on this website only so I could reply here. This the first and the ONLY place someone has reported the same issue I am facing and been trying to figure out why.

After looking at your screenshot @X47GVN, I have a feeling this is caused by Adobe Photoshop. I have the same issue and I mostly see this happen when I am processing my pictures on Adobe Photoshop.
I was just using Photoshop and I had the same problem. The only way I can get back to work is to kill and start explorer.exe again.

Unfortunately, I dont do much with my desktop apart from using Photoshop. I'll need to keep an eye and figure out if it happens when I am not using it.

I was on the verge of buying a new motherboard and processor, but I realized I was being a retard. Will see how it goes for a few days and report here.

    Thanks, I missed that completely.

My first search in PS led me to this:
Troubleshoot Adobe Photoshop problems, issues, or bugs
Setting Font Preview to None seems to have fixed this issue.

    which gave me this link

Troubleshoot fonts issues in Adobe Photoshop CC, 2015, 2014, CS6, CS5

and I looked for a general troubleshooting in case it wasn't font related

Troubleshoot Adobe Photoshop problems, issues, or bugs

There are other posts that mention teh 14.4 AMD driver and fonts in the same breath ... not sure how you back level a device de=river in Windows 10 - it always update my AMD drivers if I try.

Ok this is surely not an issue with Photoshop. I was trying to make changes to my Wordpress website and I was flipping between Notepad++ and Filezilla, making changes to my webpage and uploading them.

And Alt+tab gets stuck at that time too. Again, the only way to get back to work is by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open task manager, opening a new task, kill explorer using taskkill command and then start explorer again, all with the keyboard. Mouse does not work either. When I try clicking anything inside task manager, task manager becomes an inactive window (greys out) because the Alt+Tab contents are in the foreground.

This is really weird. I hope there is a fix for this.

Tried that and this is what I get all the time. It seems to fix something and then I reboot the computer. After the reboot, when I try the troubleshooter again, it comes back with the same messages and asks me to reboot.
