Windows Videos

This thread is a sticky thread. The issue is to find a good way to present the video list. As we started to get more videos, I changed a one sheet Excel workbook to a multiple sheet workbook. As it is now, when you go to first post you should see the sheet containing all the videos, and then be able to select a subcategory using the tabs at the bottom of the workbook.

As different skins show the posts and embedded Excel workbooks differently, this is about as good as we can do. I really don't know how to make the list in first post more readable.

I understand. If you see my last post LibreOffice can turn the exel doc into a web page(even a PDF if I wish).

Kari, just wait. My last video needs to be redone completely. I'll try to do it in the next couple of days.

Yes, it works on 8/8.1 and 10 and it's up to 253 entries on 10. Great way to get easily to some commands even more obscured in W10. Now if only Power Toys would work !!

Yes Mike I am going to have to remake the video, but it does work. I suspect there will be one more WTP before the RTM, and I expect a lot of things will be fixed in the next release. But, I suspect even the RTM will have some minor issues. I don't think there has been a new release where there weren't a few things wrong, but they were quickly fixed.

It would make God Mode but works in W7 only.

Here is a link to a OneNote Notebook I created titled Windows Ten Forums Video Listings
This is the first time I tried this, but it is a little more Viewing friendly in the browser.

1. First I used Libreoffice to open Kari's Excel document.
2. Then switched to "View in browser".
3. Then I created a new OneNote Notebook using "Send to OneNote".
4. Third I sent the browser view to the newly created Notebook.
5. Fourth I created a link for everyone to view.

Can somebody try the link for me please to make sure that no one can access the rest of my notes(As I'm the owner, of course I can see every thing). I just want to make sure people can only see this one notebook page and not edit it.

If this works maybe then Kari will have a new tool he could use.

Just opened it in FF, links work, only problem is that there is a lot of empty space between sheets from second one down. Couple of screens long empty spaces.

Ok thank. I know I just created it and wanted to test if it even works. One question did you have any access to my other stuff? Or is this secure(at least as my father would have said "Keeps honest people honest").
