@Cliff S, a nice and easy workaround, I had to test this, only con is it requires one extra step. Let's say you want to move the user Larry Laffer's user data and settings to Passionate Pat's user account on the same computer. This example uses a Hyper-V virtual machine in between, the same can be done using another real physical PC:

    • Sign in to Larry's user account on the PC
    • Signed in as Larry, start a virtual machine and create a dummy temporary user account
    • Run PCmover Express as Old PC on Larry's account
    • Run PCmover Express as New PC on a temporary dummy user account on the virtual machine, created just for this to ensure the "in-between" account has no personal data
    • When done reboot the vm and run the PCmover Express on it as Old PC
    • Leave the vm running, do not sign out from Larry's account on your PC
    • Switch to Pat's user account on the PC, run PCmover Express as New PC

That's it. Larry's data and settings was moved to Pat's user account on the same PC.

You're welcome Kari, it looks as if it'll be around a while, until all the quirks are worked out. This is new territory, for the forums, isn't it?

Yes. I like the library feature very much, I hope John gets it fixed nut to be honest he has quite a lot of work in administrating these forums, adding new stuff should only be done when it does not cause issues with existing stuff.

    Let's wait and see.

Yup, he's probably busier than a one armed Gamer playing Halo, Crysis3 and The Witcher at the same time!

I only have one problem with a program like that:
It's like ABS on cars, the user will put all his trust in it, then get careless and stop paying attention, then- schwoop-dee-oop they crash and burn(the first case literally & the second case metaphorically).
Yeah, it doesn't get everything, but it does get almost everything.

Wow! I just watched the Snip video and was amazed! Even when we were "working" on the video, I had no idea there was so much to it!

I'm going to watch again, and then go get it for myself.
and I've got it - cool!
