Nice vid @Kari I like how you add music to them. I may try that next. Your videos are professional grade my friend
I like how you used Edge(instead of that outdated old fashioned IE11) Kari... leading by example and using the new products given to us.
Thanks geeks :).
@Dude, I do the final editing including additional audio tracks in Adobe Premiere Pro, it makes it if not easy but at least I can understand it to some extent. Still learning to use it.
With Movie Maker you can add an additional audio track with a workaround: Narrate your video, create and save the final video. Start a new Movie Project, import your video which now contains the narration. Now add your music file as an additional sound track.
I have not tested this yet but a friend told me that Sony Movie Studio Platinum is as good as Premiere Pro but costs under $100. Have not tested it yet, I have downloaded the trial version but not installed it, don't even know how long the trial period is. If interested you could give it a try and then tell us here if it was OK :). Sony Movie Studio Platinum trial: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/.../moviestudiope
OK geeks, what do you say if we get together tomorrow Saturday, same time than last time, but this time take it more as Q&A session, going through the various tools a bit more in-depth, going more to details of the software and video making?
Of course anyone else can join us, too, but @Wynona, @Charlie, @Essenbe and @Dude as you already participated the first session, if you would like to show your work from your computer or show the tools and the process how you do it and eventually show possible issues you have, you could PM me an email address where I could send the meeting invitation. If joined per email invitation, I can grant presentation rights to you, too, so one click would show us your desktop in stead of mine and you could show your work and issues instead of just explaining them.

I post the open-to-everyone meeting link here tomorrow afternoon, and send the email invitations to those who have provided the email address :).
I can only grant presentator rights for those who have provided the email. In case you want to show your progress or issues from your own screen please PM an email address for the invitation.
Here's the preliminary agenda for tomorrow's open online meeting:
- Microsoft Expression Encoder advanced features
- Webcam overlay
- Adding pics and video to an EE project
- Windows Movie Maker advanced features
- Transitions
- Titles & captions
- Adding another audio track
- Alternative free screen recording software

- Advanced video editing with paid for tools
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Sony Movie Studio Platinum
Ummm, Kari, weren't there four of us besides you? Or am I a little off track again? :)
Thanks, Kari. I am ready to join, but haven't had time to do anything with the videos yet.
Retirement is all about having time to partake of the hobbies one loves, right? But in between raindrops, I have to finish a garden fence, visit with the Opthalmologist (so I can see to create those videos), have three pairs of glasses remade . . .
However, I'm keeping track of programs necessary and looking to learning each one individually, then putting them all together.
