Booting issues with w10 machine
Hi
Last year a bought a new machine. I also ordered a w10 copy but when I got the machine it was already installed. The very first night I booted it it refused to shut down with some error (can't remember which one) and I had to use system restore. This happened 3 times in a row so I decided to format and re-install w10 myself. Remember: this is not an upgrade, it's installed from a w10 installation disc.
Before I formatted I had another problem, which still occurs and is where I need help. Sometimes if I power up the machine it's powered on for 30 seconds-1 minute and shuts down automatically. Nothing is shown on screen, no power is going to the mouse or keyboard. Other times if I power it up it stays on but again: no power to screen, keyboard & mouse. This is when I have to reset it myself.
Other times though the machine just boots like normal instantly.
It is very annoying because sometimes it takes up to 10 minutes before I get the normal boot and I get to use the damn thing. Any experiences with this problem and how to fix it? It seems very unlikely to me that formatting it again will change the tide?
