Help=System clocking at "Post Window Picture" at startup
I was in middle of reinstalling my nvidia graphics drivers for my GTX 660 when the cat bumped the power cord behind the PC-obviously may have been a tiny bit loose. I figured no problem. I will just boot system up and have non accelerated graphics until I get the drivers installed..however, I think it killed my system.
Here is what happens. I have a dual monitor setup. The windows picture always starts first on the right monitor. That boots up. Then it goes away. Then it usually activates the left monitor after window picture on right goes away..the right one still stays lit (but iti s the "extended" one. The weird thing is both monitors "light up" after windows picture disappears... and it looks as if things will be "normal" in terms of startup, but the login screen never appears. Just the cursor and the "circle". I thought maybe it was "fixing" something while it was doing that, but I let it run all night and login screen still never appeared. Still same situation. The cursor and the ball. this morning.
Is there a way to boot into safe mode in Windows 10? I keep on pushing f8 and then shift, but nothing comes up.
This is one of the strangest computer issues I have ever had.
**One thing I wanted to add is I am downloading the Windows 10 ISO on my laptop at home if I will need it. This happened on my desktop.
