Please post the screenshot of the result.
    Here is mine................

Attachment 82132I did the Winver/enter thing and got Exactly the same Windows 10 image and information as shown in your screen shot. I tried to post it for you but the image would not stay on the screen.

Your screenshot shows up on the message body just find.

I am no longer sure why you and a small percentage of users are unable to have the My Stuff option.
    Sorry.

Thanks for trying. There must be an answer out there somewhere but it certainly is elusive not to mention frustrating at not finding it.

    My Stuff Button Solution

    Hi.

I had the "My Stuff" Button before and for some unexplained reason disappeared.
To bring it back, follow this:

    1) Write something in the search box, but do not click anything.
    2) At the left, click in the "cog" (Settings).
    3) Turn OFF the "Search online and include web results" option.
    4) Try to search something and see the "Search my stuff" Button.
    5) You can return to ON the "Search online and include web results" option if you wish, to have also the "Web" button.

    Alfredo.

I just happened to fix the problem myself a few days before you posted so I don't know if your solution would help me. I can't tell you how I did it because My Stuff suddenly appeared as I tried many different approaches. I wish I had a clue so I could pass the solution on but I don't. All I can say is that I am veery happy I found it again.
This is my first chance to respond, Alfredo. Thanks very much

I do remember it being there ..but I think it went bye bye after a windows update awhile back
I had the same problem on my computer. I used 'my stuff' hundreds of times to find things on my computer and this useful Windows 10 feature disappeared after a recent update and now I cannot find my large music collection.

You folks could download a free search program that works very well, and will find anything on your computer. The link is below.

Hi, which build are you using? Could you please press the Windows key + R, enter Winver, then post your build number? As far as I and others have seen 'My Stuff' has vanished with the Anniversary Upgrade, and there are buttons for Documents, Videos, Music, Photos... Thanks!

Simple view: don't use Cortana to try to find files.
It ONLY finds files that have been indexed by Windows search, and won't find executables. There are much better ways as OldMike65 has posted.

Another freeware option with a more complete GUI is Ultrasearch. If you opt for Everything, get v1.4beta as this adds Advanced Search options.
