    Selecting Printing Size

With Windows XP, when I printed a shipping label on Ebay I could select the page size as a %.

Now, with Windows 10, I cannot. The shipping label are PDFs. I can't edit their content, but I do want to be able to alter the size of the label to fit the size of the box. How do I do this in Windows 10?

Nothing has changed. You can still choose the document size in Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox. Edge does not work properly, so if you are using it, you need to use a different browser, which IE is going away.

Even if you download to a PDF and open with adobe or Foxit, you still change the size the same way as it has been for over three decades.

To print labels, you should use software with features that make it easier to fill them out and print them. Many programs contain templates for printing on a wide variety of label sizes.

Can you tell me exactly how to change the print size by percent with Chrome and Firefox?

It is in "Print" in the browser.

In Edge, there are two methods of sizing after you select Print.
    1. Scale>shrink to fit in %
    2.More Settings>Paper Quality>Size.
Perhaps a bit of experimentation with those might work for you, worth atry.

I don't see anything other than changing the orientation. I don't see anything to set the size %. I have not been able to do this since I went from Windows XP to Windows 10, regardless of browser. And, I would prefer to make these % changes with the browser. When I'm at the library, I can't put any software on their computers.

If you go Ctrl-P and pull up the Print dialog. Then you can go in and change the actual Printer settings, not the basic Browser Print settings. This is the same as it has always been with browsers. You may need to install the printer software if you have not done so already. That adds some extra features that Windows does not normally add if you just hooked up the printer and started using.

In Chrome Press CTRL + Shift + P. This will take you to the system print dialog.
Select the desired printer, then Select Preferences.
Here in the choices will depend on your printer. The size settings may be under Advanced or Effects, etc.
