Thanks but not quite. I have a third party manager which I use for lil tweaks. One is 'display win version on the desktop' but it only shows the first 5 digits.

Well...what's the point of displaying it if it isn't accurate or incomplete? It's not telling you if the latest cumulative update has been installed or not.
Often times I would create a custom Quick Launch folder in the form of the Version number and tack it to the taskbar, for quick glance, because I could never remember which friggin Version we're on!

Not big deal really, is it? I can turn it off any time I want, but as I have updates on auto, might be handy one day.

Hi,
I upgraded 3 PC's to 2004 19041.264. When I go to Winver, 2 of them say (C) 2019 Microsoft Corporation and 1 of them says (C) 2020 Microsoft Corporation. I'm not bothered about fixing it. I just find it weird considering 2004 was released in...
I have noticed that on some of my computers that when I hit Start Run "winver" is pre-typed in the run box and others computers do not do that , just wondering :sarc:
I just installed 1803 and found I lost winver from my desktop.
I had found a way to do this sometime last year but I somehow lost the link.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks for any help!:D
What does it mean if under your licensed name in winver it also says Mictosoft?
