Can not customize the start menu

I'm having trouble with the start menu. I can't pin or resize or drag and drop icons even though I've tried a lot of ways. I've use sfc/scannow and it said it can see there're some problems but it can't fix those. I use Store apps frequently so this nearly drives me mad. Do you guys have any solution?

Hello, please look at your sfc results in CBS.LOG. If you have opencl.dll listed, then that's an MS bug with Nvidia. As you haven't completed your system specs I don't know if you would see that. Likewise some report some sound files being listed- another bug. If others beyond that, then there may be a problem.

Have you tried searching the forum? This is quite a common question...
    E.g.
    start menu can't move tiles
Can not customize the start menu-snap-2016-05-08-10.58.38.jpg

    Can't pin/unpin:

    1. Group Policy Editor (Pro only)

Press Windows key + R, type

    gpedit.msc

    Navigate to
    local computer / policy/computer configuration/administrative templates/all settings

Ensure Start Layout is not set to enabled.
Set it to Not configured and restart,
    - the problem should be solved.

    Navigate to
    User Configuration
    Start Menu and Taskbar
    Set
Prevent users from customizing their Start Screen
    to ‘Disable’

    1. I found that I had sthg called "hohosearch" in my list of installed programs. I uninstalled it

    Can't move/drag:
Hi, Someone noted here that temporarily enabling Tablet Mode may fix this.
    (apologies, attribution lost)

    1. Open the Action Centre
Turn on Tablet Mode (should all now go full screen)
    Try moving the tiles ..
Open the Action Centre and turn off Tablet Mode
Screen should be back to normal - try the tiles again.

    2. Set full screen, then revert to normal
    3. Change user account to admin from user and back again if appropriate
    4. Try creating a new user account
(if it works in a new user account, your user profile is corrupt, if not, Windows or a setting other than in your profile is corrupt).

You will be able to find more by using the search box above:
    start menu tiles stuck
    tiles don't move

    etc.

Beyond that I suggest an in-place upgrade repair install (See Tutorial Section - click above - search for "in-"
This keeps all programs and most settings

I searched google the whole night but couldn't find a proper solution. And after trying several times as you said, it worked!

Thank you for your support dalchina !!
