Windows 10 freezes on boot from Hibernate?

    Hi all,

I've got an older Acer Aspire 6530 I was asked to install Windows 10 on for a friend. It's running Win10 Home 64-bit and is a fresh install. All works fine except if the computer goes to sleep, isn't touched for long enough and then goes into hibernate, when I wake it from hibernate, it ALWAYS freezes at the Windows Logo / spinning circle of dots screen and the only way to solve this is to hard-reset.

Is there something I can try to solve this issue?

That is typical for Hibernate. That problem has been around since XP SP3.
