Those beautiful circling/spinning dots, I waited almost 3 months to get them back :)
In my last job, we used to call the blue ring one the "Blue spinning teething ring of doom" .
The circle implies, that it will go in never ending circles. I miss the loading bar.
Anyway, if I miss it too much, I can always play this Loading Screen Simulator on Steam. :)
You guys (a) have way too much free time, and (b) are onto something in wanting a standardized vocabulary to talk about these screen widgets. And FWIW, since I have a smidgeon of free time myself, I like "spinning balls" a lot better than "Throbber!"
