Upgrade from 7 to 10 not responding.

Hey guys, I'm coming over from the seven boards after months of debating whether or not to use Windows 10, my work finally upgraded to it and I have found I can live with the changes.

However It seems my computer just blatantly refuses to upgrade or download for upgrade at a later date, I've attached what I am seeing I have let this run for over 10 hours and nothing happens, it spins as if it is doing something productive. I can't figure out what the issue is myself, I've insured that my updates are all installed and I can't seem to find anything to solve this, I've tried through this link as well :
    Windows 10

I haven't done the media creation tool yet as I'd like to get some input on this before I start doing anything that might result in wiping my drives for a clean install.

After you create a Windows 10 USB flash drive or DVD with the Media Creation Tool, insert the flash drive or DVD with Windows 7 running. Then open it in file explorer like you were going to copy files to/from it. Run setup on the flash drive or DVD and that will do the upgrade to Windows 10 without wiping the drives for a clean install.
