Start menu White box tile

I started having a problem (it used to display correctly, it just randomly changed without me doing anything) with the way opera web browser shows up in the start menu when it is pinned.
It appears as just a white box without even a custom colour applied. Every other programs appears correctly.

What can I do? I already tried reinstalling the app as well as deleting the IconCache.db

Can anyone help with this please?

Try a different browser instead of Opera.
Make the new browser as default > then reboot.

See if that helps at all.

Isnt that the same as deleting the IconCache.db?

I still tried it, it didnt help

Didn't change anything... still blank for some reason

How long ago since that problem appears ?
If not too long ago, try doing a system restore.
Pick a date when you did NOT have this issue as your restore point.

As much I would like to, I didnt have access to my computer since February and the problem started a few days before then. there are no system restore points from back then for some reason

Care to do a repair install ?
