Search for settings entries in the normal search bar

    Search for settings entries in the normal search bar


    I just installed the latest preview build yesterday. And I noticed that some search functionality is now different. I want to be able to search for 'power options' right on the normal search bar. I can no longer do that. I need to first search for settings, open settings app and then search for 'power options' in the settings search area.

    Is there any way I can go back to having the normal search display those settings too?

    Yes, same issue on mine, 14295.

    For now, I use the old-fashioned way.................... right click at Start > Control Panel > View by : small icons > Power options

When tryting to follow instructions I've noticed that my default configured Start Menu in Windows 10 seems to be missing some kind of Search or Find box similar to what Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 had.... Any idea how to get it back?
In Windows 7, hitting the Windows key would bring up a search field, just as it does in Windows 10. Included in the search results would be matching entries from Microsoft Outlook 2010 (contacts, tasks, e-mail, etc. that contain the search string)....
