    Shared edge with windows snapping

    Hello,

According to the get started pages of windows 10, snapped windows should have a shared edge that is draggable. Whats new - Windows Help

I can snap windows just fine, only there is no shared edge for the snapped windows nor any option that I can find that is related to it.
There is supposed to be a shared edge for snapped apps in desktop mode just as in tablet mode.
Can anyone help me on this one?

Edit : Nevermind. Apparently it only works with windows apps and possibly store apps. Possibly other apps will support this in the future as they may need to implement this tho the feature isn't much different then resizing a window.. so I wouldn't know why developers need to have to add extra code for this.
Great idea.. but pretty useless feature if it only works with windows apps.

It is available with update 1511, and it works with any application, not only modern apps!

    Thank you!

It does seem to work with other apps as you mentioned. But I 've encountered some oddities/bugs?
    1. Firefox snapping doesn,t seem to work properly when my taskbar is docked to the right side of my screen opposed to the default bottom. The bottom of the window doesn't touch the bottom of the screen when snapping resulting in not showing the shared edge. Wich brings me to my next problem :)
    2. When the you snap to a corner so that it the window takes for example 1/4 of a screen, the snapped window will not show the shared edge with windows that are snapped to top and bottom

It only works when you snapp application to side (1/2 of desktop).
It works wit my Firefox, Office and explorer. Didn't try with others. Can be really useful.
