Video playing on locked screen ... can do?

Anyone know if I can have a video playing on a locked screen.

Any way to arrange this?

Not natively.
You'll be able to hear it, but the only thing you'll see on the Lock Screen is the Media Controller applet.

Can you explain what this is, and where I can get it.

If you are playing music with Groove, or a movie with Movies & TV, and you lock your screen, the applet will show for a few seconds if you invoke vol, pause or play with keyboard or mouse controls.
(Movies will pause, btw, when locked, but music will keep playing)

There used to be a way to get VLC player to play a video file as a screen saver, but, it's too complicated to set up to be worth it.

That's a pity, I need video to be playing while locked.
