    Hi guys,

    Try this reg to ignore warning for .exe;.bat;.cmd;.vbs:
    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Group Policy Objects\{E2F13B98-650F-47DB-845A-420A1ED34EC7}User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Associations]
    "LowRiskFileTypes"=".exe;.bat;.cmd;.vbs"

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Associations]
    "LowRiskFileTypes"=".exe;.bat;.cmd;.vbs"

    Hello Martinz, :)

    Yep, you'll need to sign out/in or restart the computer to apply.

    Hello Silvera, :)

    If you're trying to open Registry Editor, see if opening its .exe file directly at C:\Windows\regedit.exe may work.

    When I save a key I right-click the file and choose Edit. It comes up with this example text:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    Pressing the WIndows key plus R gets the Run dialog box and I type regedit in it. If that doesn't work it usually means an infection has hit my computer and changed some defaults. So far I've been able to avoid a clean reinstall of Windows.

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\DirectShow]

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\DirectShow\MediaObjects]

    [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\DirectShow\MediaObjects\01f36ce2-0907-4d8b-979d-f151be91c883]
    @="Frame Rate Converter"
    "InputTypes"=hex:76,69,64,73,00,00,10,00,80,00,00,aa,00,38,9b,71,41,59,55,56,\
    00,00,10,00,80,00,00,aa,00,38,9b,71,76,69,64,73,00,00,10,00,80,00,00,aa,00,\
    38,9b,71,59,55,59,32,00,00,10,00,80,00,00
    So basically Registry Editor 5 is built into the latest RTM version of Win10. Usually when functions don't work properly/as expected things have gotten changed by an infection but so far I've been able to avoid a clean reinstall.
