I tried reinstalling Windows by resetting it, I went to a computer service shop they tried to boot in another OS (Windows 7) the OS still detects it. They said my hard drive has a problem so I bought a new one.

Nope, It went back to the Windows 8.1 because that key is already installed on the motherboard, can I still go back to windows 10? I also test my HDD again put it on a case but it is still working I don't know why....

The W8 key is embedded in the BIOS. You can clean install W10, not entering a key, and it should activate just fine.

Edge has been acting differently for some time. If I click on the usual page in the usual place instead of giving me the usual result, sometimes (1 time out of 10/20 or so), it shows me an advertisement.

Cannot remember password, OR typed it in wrong on both entries. When I use the tool for recovering/resetting the password. The system takes me to a reset function, where I am able to put in a new password twice, but the screen that follows does not...
